Woman Faces Criminal Charges After Letting Son Drive
A McMinn county mother is facing criminal charges, including contributing to the delinquency of a minor, after she let her twelve year-old son drive on a county road with his neighbor as a passenger. According to reports, this is not the first time Nancy Poteet, the mother of the boy, has allowed her son to drive the family vehicle, but it may be the first time he has ever wrecked while doing so. Apparently the boy lost control of the SUV and caused it to roll over last Sunday night. Luckily, no one was injured.
